Terms of sale

1. Purpose

These terms govern the rental of Salon BCN, 5 rue Icare, 67960 Entzheim, by HYPE LOCATION. Making a booking constitutes unreserved acceptance of them.

2. Booking

A booking covers one day and the time slot shown when the date is selected.

A selected date is held for fifteen minutes, the time needed to complete the form. Without payment within that time it becomes available again. The booking becomes firm once the deposit is received.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes. They cover the rental of the venue and the cleaning fee, which is mandatory.

The price that applies is the one displayed for the chosen date at the time of booking.

4. Payment

A deposit of 50% is paid online at the time of booking.

The balance is requested by email and must be paid no later than fourteen days before the event. Where a booking is made less than fourteen days before the event, the full amount is paid in one go.

Failure to pay the balance by its due date entitles the owner to cancel the booking, the deposit remaining acquired.

5. No right of withdrawal

Under article L221-28, 4° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services supplied on a specific date or for a specific period.

Renting a function room for an agreed date falls within that exception: no cooling-off period applies.

6. Cancellation by the customer

The deposit remains acquired by the owner whatever the date of cancellation, in compensation for the date being unavailable to others.

If the balance has already been paid, it is refunded, less the deposit.

7. Cancellation by the owner

In the event of force majeure or of the venue being unavailable, the owner refunds all sums paid. No other compensation is due.

8. Use of the premises

• The customer takes the venue as it stands and returns it in the same condition.
• The stated maximum capacity may not be exceeded, for safety reasons.
• Music stays indoors, with doors and windows closed. Consideration for neighbours is mandatory.
• Smoking indoors is prohibited.
• Any damage found is charged to the customer at the cost of making good.

9. Insurance

The customer confirms holding public liability insurance covering damage they may cause to property and persons for the duration of the rental.

10. Liability

The owner is not liable for belongings left on the premises, nor for damage caused by guests to one another.

11. Personal data

Data collected when booking is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.
